Jillian's art is part of the District 3 Art Show at the Chapman Cultural Center. It will be on display for the remainder of the month and part of the month of June. We went to the reception last night to see her art (it is a tesselation; see picture at left) and enjoy refreshments. While we were there, the rain and wind began. We all got soaked trying to get to the car to make it to Converse in time for her piano recital. Ms. Crisan, her piano instructor, had scheduled Jillian to go first. Jillian was nervous, but she did AN AWESOME JOB!! She didn't even mess up when Graycin started yelling at her!! When she was done, Graycin clapped for her. It was funny because Graycin has heard those songs over and over as Jillian has practiced at home, and it was like she recognized them!
